Election Information



The Michigan General election was held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  Polls were open from 7A to 8P at the Township Hall.

Any registered voter can vote from home/by mail.  Absentee ballot applications should be returned to the Township Office in person or placed in the LOCKED drop box outside the Township Hall.  They can also be mailed to PO Box 1, Rapid City, MI 49676 or scanned and emailed to the Township Clerk at clerk@clearwatertwp.com.

Absentee ballots should be returned before election day.  Return ballots to the Township Clerk in person, or by dropping in the LOCKED drop box outside the Township Hall or send via US Mail.  All ballots need to arrive at the Township Hall prior to the close of polls on Election Day.

The November ballot Public Accuracy Test was held on October 19, 2020 at 2:45PM at the Township Hall, 5440 River St., Rapid City.

The Clearwater Township Election Commission met on October 8, 2020 at 3:30PM to appoint election workers.  The meeting was held at the Township Hall.

Residents can register to vote through election day at the Township Office.  Voter registration and Absentee ballots will be available at the Township Office during office hours and during the weekend before election day for 8 hours; times and dates will be posted.
