A Special Election will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Any registered voter can vote from home/by mail.  Absentee ballot applications should be returned to the Township Office in person or placed in the LOCKED drop box outside the Township Hall.  They can also be mailed to PO Box 1, Rapid City, MI 49676 or scanned and emailed to the Township Clerk at clerk@clearwatertwp.com.

Absentee ballots should be returned before election day.  Return ballots to the Township Clerk in person, or by dropping in the LOCKED drop box outside the Township Hall or send via US Mail.  All ballots need to arrive at the Township Hall prior to the close of polls on Election Day.

The May ballot Public Accuracy Test will be held on TBD at the Township Hall, 5440 River St., Rapid City.

The Clearwater Township Election Commission will meet on TBD to appoint election workers at the Township Hall.

Residents can register to vote through election day at the Township Office.  Voter registration and Absentee ballots will be available at the Township Office during office hours (Monday-Thursday 10 AM-2 PM) and during the weekend before election day: 
Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 8 AM to Noon and
Sunday, May 1, 2022 from Noon to 4 PM
